“Something looks wrong or out of date”

If Meetingrid looks broken, shows old information, buttons don’t respond, or a page just won’t load properly, the most common cause is your browser holding on to an old, cached copy of the app instead of loading the latest version. This isn’t something wrong with your account or your data — it’s just your browser being overly “helpful” by trying to save time, and it usually clears up once you follow the steps below.

Step 1: Try a hard refresh first

Before clearing anything, try this simple trick — it fixes most issues on its own:

  • Windows / Linux: Hold Ctrl and Shift, then press R.
  • Mac: Hold Cmd and Shift, then press R.

This tells your browser to skip its saved copy and reload the page fresh. If that fixes it, you’re done — no need to do anything else.

Step 2: Clear your browser’s cached data

If the hard refresh didn’t help, the next step is to clear your browser’s stored data for Meetingrid. This is a normal, safe action — it won’t delete your Meetingrid account, your meetings, or anything you’ve created. It only removes temporary files your browser saved to speed things up.

Still stuck?

If clearing your browser data doesn’t fix the problem, try opening Meetingrid in a different browser, or in a private/incognito window, to check whether the issue follows you there. If it does, it’s likely not a caching problem — in that case, click the button in the top-right corner of the top bar to open your profile page (/me), and use the form there to send a bug report or feature request. It goes straight to us, so we can take a look.
