The grid
Every meeting has a grid of selectable cells — days, time windows, or both, depending on the meeting type. Click and drag to mark the times you’re available; click a marked cell again to unmark it. Day-based grids (days of week, custom dates) offer a List view (one row per participant) and a Grid view (a weekly calendar with each person’s avatar next to the days they picked) — switch between them with the toggle above the grid. For meetings with custom dates and times, the day columns scroll horizontally (swipe on mobile, or use the arrows) once there are more than seven selected dates.
Reading overlapping times
As participants mark their availability, grid cells shade darker the more people have selected them — so the best shared times stand out at a glance, with no need to compare responses by hand. The time with the most overlapping selections gets an extra gold outline, and the runner-up gets silver, so the winning time and its runner-up are visible immediately, with no counting required.
Marking availability with AI
Instead of clicking every cell, you can describe your availability in your own words, and Meetingrid will propose a selection for you to preview and accept. See AI prompting.
Importing from a calendar file
For meetings tied to a specific week, month, or day, you can upload your own .ics calendar file and have your busy/free time automatically converted into a grid selection. See How calendar import works.
Changing your answer later
You can come back and adjust your selection at any time — you don’t have to get it exactly right the first time, and the grid updates for everyone as soon as you save.
