AI prompting
Describing what you want in plain language instead of clicking through every option.
Overview
In two places, Meetingrid lets you type or dictate a plain-language description instead of filling in fields by hand: when creating a meeting, and when marking your own availability. In both cases you get a preview of what's about to be set before it's saved, so you can accept it or try a different description.
Describing a meeting to create it
On the new meeting page, describe the event instead of picking a type, title, and settings one by one -- Meetingrid proposes all of them for you to review before creating the meeting.
"a weekly team call across timezones"
Proposes a Time of week meeting, timezone awareness turned on, and a title like "Weekly team call".
"a house move next week"
Proposes a Day of month meeting scoped to next week's date range, with a title like "House move".
Describing your availability to fill the grid
On a meeting's page, describe when you're free instead of clicking every cell -- Meetingrid proposes a grid selection for you to preview and accept. By default this adds to your current selection.
"I'm free tomorrow afternoon"
Selects tomorrow's afternoon slots on the grid, added on top of anything already selected.
"remove my current selection and set availability only on Tuesday mornings"
Clears your existing selection first, then selects only Tuesday morning slots.
Dictating instead of typing
Both the meeting description and the availability description can be dictated instead of typed, using the microphone button next to the text field, for whenever typing out a full sentence is slower than just saying it.
Usage limits
Each meeting has a limited number of AI prompts on the free plan, shown next to the prompt field. Boosting the meeting raises that limit -- see Plans & billing.
